On May 21st the Community Commission for Police Oversight (CCPO) is having it’s FIRST Public Hearing since the commission began in May 2023!

When: Tuesday, May 21st - 6:00pm-8:30pm

Where: Minneapolis Public Service Building, 500 4th Ave S, Room 100

• The Community Commission On Police oversight is BOTH a board driving police policy AND provides the 3 civilian panelists - along with 2 police panelists - for review panels to make police misconduct determinations. One year in, do you understand both roles of the CCPO?

• Do you you feel the City is better off, the same, or worse after a year of the CCPO's operations?

• Do you see real, tangible, and measurable results from the CCPO on development of police policy, communications with the public, handling police complaint determinations, or other tasks you expect of CCPO?

• What does the CCPO do that should remain, be improved, or changed?
